~TiE dYe fUn & MoRe~
Wow- I cant believe that Easter was like last week.. So I thought i better get going on what we did last weekend.
On Saturday we woke up and went down to the Bountiful Park by 9:40 to go to a Easter Hunt. I walked down with Marla, Milo, Kenzie and Cameron ( My niece and nephew) The easter hunt was done by someone in Marla's ward who owes there own business, I would tell you the name but cant find the paper.. Anyway there were 6,500 eggs laid out everywhere on the ground. There were different age groups so that everyone had an equal opportunity to get eggs. So after we helped Milo get some eggs and turn in the eggs that had stars on them, for a prize..... It was the adults turn to egg hunt!!!! And boy was it craziness. I only got 4 eggs and so did Dave and my sister in law Tiff.. Also if you got an egg with a number then you got a really nice prize. I got an egg with a number 2 on it and Tiff got 16. She got a 1 hour massage somewhere and I got two certificate to Paradise Bakery.. And boy was it good. So that was really really fun! Thanks Terry Dorsey for inviting us!
Then after that we went up to Aunt Joe's to Dye Eggs. A tradition we do every year. This year Dave and I purchased a Tye Dyeing set. And it was really cool. Milo did really good and did all of his eggs by his self. He was covered in dye all over his hands..... but hes washable and he had so much fun!
On Sunday I got to hide all of the eggs in Grandma Marlas yard for all the little kids. First we had a nice dinner then the kids were off to find all 124 eggs! It was really fun.
On Monday we went to Nanna's and G-pa Rue's for another Easter egg hunt! I forgot my camera so i dont have pics of that but it was fun as well. We played with a balloon rocket, you have to see it to understand but we had lots of fun being together as a family. And it was good to see everyone.
Well If you dont hear for me again its probley cuz we all got a sugar surge for all of the candy Milo found and we wount be able to move intell its out of our system. I would say his bag of candy it about 10 Lbs. But thank you to everyone for such the fun weekend last week. We had so much fun. And I love being with my Family!!!!

If there are bubbles around Milo is right there wanting to join in. I found a package with all these fun gadgets to blow the bubbles with and a small bottle of bubbles for a doller at clems...(favorite store!!!! if you havent been there ill tell ya where its at... Awesome deals all of the time) I also found some school things there. I found a ABC booklet so Milo can learn to write his name, not just spell it. He is doing really good with it. He likes to spell out his name all of the time and now He likes to point out the letters of his name whenever he see's it. I am so proud of him. I am glad that i was able to teach him that while i am at home with him.
Pooor milo has been sick with a bad fever for some reason the past 2 days. He was just laying around yesturday outside wraped up in a blanket watching all of the kids play. Latter that night you could just tell he didnt feel well so we took his temp and it was 104.4 YIKES. He has never had a temp that bad or high. So we gave him some more medication and he finally felt better. He still is feeling not so good today but im glad that we have been able to go outside and enjoy this awesome wheather... I hope everyone is too. I will be posting more pics soon...

~CrAZy 2 WeEks~
So i haven't been posting.. Sorry for who ever reads my blog. I don't think to many people do but whoever does thanks. So I had Aunt Kim's Funeral on Valentines Day.. Very good and sad. It was a nice good bye from aunt Kim. Then i got some horrible news on Friday the 13Th that Micah Edwards my friend from Jr. High and High school died in a car crash. She was coming home from school with her sister when they hit some ice and lost control of the car. They went into on coming traffic and got T boned. They both died instantly when the car hit because it snapped there necks. So its good they didn't have to suffer or feel pain but still sucks at the same time. When i went to the viewing with Dave there were so many people there. It was like Jr. High and High school all over again. But Micah looked really good and her sister as well, seeing how the car was i thought it would be a closed casket. It also is sad because her sister was coming home that weekend so she could get engaged.
This hole Micah passing is just crazy. With aunt Kim we knew that she was going to pass and she could say her good byes and give advice, but with Micah it was just sudden and out of the blue almost. But with her short time here she has touched so many lives. She was so out going and fun making you laugh all of the time. Very talented and loving towards everyone. I will miss her and feel bad that we didn't get to have our annual Christmas party that we have every year with all " The Girls" and that we didn't hang out more. But i will remember her always just like i will remember aunt Kim. I love them both, rest in peace loves you will be missed!
If you want to see more about the accident and story about them, it has been on the Ksl news, and some photos are up. I think they still are. And I think that Fox 13 has some story's on it as well.
So other then that nothing really new is going on. Still at home hanging out with Milo. I have been going on line and trying to find some fun preschool activities to do with him. We made Valentines Cards for The grandmas and Daddy. He really liked that. I have also found a recipe to make Home made chalk and clay and some other things. There were so many fun things to do I cant wait to do them all. If you would like you can go to the site, they have some cute ideas. www.education.com You can do it for preschoolers or older age children. If any one else has some good or fun ideas for an active 3 year old please do tell. Milo is dying to go to school and tells us every day that he wants to go to school and that he is old enough to go. So i thought if i just get him some activities here and there it will make the day go faster for him at home.
I cant think if there is anything else that has happened. I know there is i just cant think of anything right now. Dave is doing really good at his job. Milo is getting bigger by the minuet and I'm just loving being a stay at home Mommy... We have been hanging out with Kyle, Cassie and Kyson a bit so i will have to get some pics with Milo and him they are so cute together.
I will post some pictures soon. Love you all.

So the last couple of weeks i have just been hanging out with Milo. I also have been organizing things and reading a lot. I just got done with the third book of the Twilight Series. And boy can i tell you i cant wait to start on the last one. Its a big one and my mom says its really good. So I'm Excited.
I have been taking some pics, just silly ones with Milo. So here are a couple
Milo on his bike ridding around. We went out last week cuz it was so nice and warm outside. He is doing really good on his new bike.
Here are some spur of the moment pictures.
Milo is so fun to make faces with.. I love hanging out with him. He makes the days go faster when I'm waiting for Dave to get home from work.
Yesterday i went over to my moms to try and figure out how to make a diaper cake. I have a shower i have to go to this week and Marla, my mother in law- had some extra diapers that she had from the grand kids. I think she was just going to say Here and give them to the new expecting mother. So i asked if i could make the diaper cake out of them because i have always wanted to try and do it, and this was the perfect oppertunity. So this is how is turned out....
I think it turned out pretty damn cute if you ask me. My mom and i were looking online at how to start it and all the different options you had of making it. The one we made is just simple and sweet nothing fancy like some of them, (good grife some were goddie be on goddie.) But you definitely need two people for the job. So i am glad that my mom was willing to help me. Thanks Mommy i love you.
Well hope you enjoy the pics. This week and last has gone really good for me. Dave and I are doing Super Awesome. Man i love that kid so much. He is doing really good at work. Richard his boss always is telling him that he is a really good worker and is so grateful for all he does. He also said that a customer called on Monday and told him that he has people in and out of his house all of the time doing stuff, and he has never seen such good professional people working at his house. He said that Dave and Kyle were really nice and cleaned up after them self and was really pleased with them. So this is so good to hear. It made Dave feel really good to hear that. He also has a work phone now and soon he will be getting business cards.. Whoop Whoop..
Well hope every ones weekend goes well and safe. I cant wait tell Sunday to go bowling with the family and see Milo kick my butt at it.. Lol.........

~D.i. sHopiN hEre I cOme!~
Last friday was my last day at work, it was okay i guess. I just went for a little bit to help make new files for the new year and pack my stuff up. :( Shannon was nice and took me to lunch. She was very sad to see me go.
Saturday i went to the D.I. with my friend Cassie. Cassie is Dave's cousin, Kyles fiance. So she is more then a friend i guess. Anyway I have been wanting to go to the D.I for some time too look at pants. Sometimes if you look good enough you can find the really spendy spendy brands there. I was pritty lucky that day. This is what i came out with. I got 2 pairs of jeans, one brand LEI- $40-50.00 mall price. $6.00 D.I. Price. An Express pair of jeans-$ 60-80.00 mall price. $6.00 D.I. Price. An American Eagle shirt $ 25-30.00 mall price. $4.00 D.I. price! Also i got this really cute v neck sweater for $5.00 its called AcQuabianca. I have never heard of that brand but it sounds pricey.
I was glad to go and find some clothes there. If only i were a size 0 i could have gotten so many more pairs of pants.... JK. No no it was really fun to go with Cassie and the boys. She has a son, Kyson who is 10 months. Milo loves him to death and is so cute with him. I told Milo if he was a good boy and didn't go and hide from me ( always scares me to death when he hides in the clothes) and played/kept kyson happy we would go to the pet store. Man o Man he was so good! I was very proud of him. So we went to Bird World to look at the fishes and doggy's. I was kind of worried that i would never get Milo out of there but he walked right out of the store after he said goodbye to everything. (Something i have learned in my parenting magazine's. Have your kids say good bye to the dog or the toy that they are eyeing in the store. It really helps them understand that you cant buy everything.) I was so proud of him he was such a good little boy that day. He is growing up so fast hes not my baby anymore.
Sunday Dave and I went and played foot ball with Milo at the park. Monday Dave went to work. He really is doing so good at work. His boss is so proud of him and really thinks he does a good job and says he is really good at blowing the instillation into the attics. So I'm really glad that we found a good easy nice paying job for him. He loves getting up every morning he is always up and ready to go to work. I love him to death. Nothing else really has happened this week. I'm just being a stay at home mom and reading a lot of my newest book New Moon. I hope soon that i will be going and seeing Twilight with my mom. I know its not going to be as good at the book but when is it ever. Well hope everyone has a good rest of the weekend. And also Happy Birthday Henry!
Oh got to have a mommy moment. Milo can now stand and pull up his pants and hold the little guy. You still have to suppervise but he can do it!!!!! But dont mention anything to him he gets mad.....well embaresed. But im so proud of him and that he wanted to do it on his own.
Mom wanted me to add some photos and this is the most recent. I need to take more.. And i will..... More photos to come!

GeTtIng SIcK of GeTtInG LaYEd oFf!
Big long Sigh.....
Yesterday was a an interesting day. Dave was up bright and Early in the morning- ready, waiting and wanting to go to work. So i got up too so i could read a little of my new book i just started. (Twilight, good book thanks mom) Then we left at 7:15 to go and pick up kyle so i could drop them off to work. Any way I went home got Milo up and in the tub. While i was bending over to put his toys in the tub my phone fell right out of my pocket and into the water. DAMIT!!! Luckly it was only in there for 2.1 seconds.. I hope. So i guess this is what started my lovely day.
Milo and I had decided to go to the library for a bit and get some books and a movie. Then i had to go and run some other errands around town. Driving ohh so slow and making sure others on the road were being just as careful as i was. We then went to Mickey Dees for some lunch and some play time on the play toy. Don't worry everyone i made him eat first and play last, those things are so gross. And yes mom i washed his hands after. . . . and before.. Going on I couldn't get Milo to leave after a bit. He was getting along very well with the other children, but most of all he was having fun. So when i saw the opportunity i took it.
He came down the slide just dripping with sweat. So i picked up his cup and said " Milo, you look so hot are you thirsty? Why don't we go get you something to drink." Ha Ha! It worked He was a little mad a first when i started for the door after i filled up his cup, but then gave up on it.
I took Milo over to my moms work then headed to my work. Shannon was there and looked like her head cold had gotten worse over the night. She had a huge pile of work for me and needed me to print up some checks right away. So after Derek was done with faxing some paper work, I took action with printing the checks. Shannon was gone by this time left for lunch.
The time i was done getting the 8-10 checks printed Shannon had arrived back from lunch. She was gone only for a half an hour and i felt so proud of myself to be done with all of the checks and some other things she had given me. This was at 2:00-2:10 or so when this all happened.
Around 3:15 Mike called me into his office to see if he could talk to me. I didn't think anything of it. I sat down in a chair in front of his desk and took of my glasses. My eyes started to blur from the paper work i was looking at earlier, and taking off my glasses so fast.
He started out " So Dave found a job"
Me- "Yeah. And he really likes it so.... were really happy"
I then told him the name of the company, and where it was at and what he does.
Mike- "Good, well Jossilyn i wanted to talk to you and .... you probley know where this is going but we need to lay you off..
BAM.......... OCH
He went on to explain that i had done nothing wrong, i was doing all that i was suppose to be doing and more. But they needed someone who was trained in doing Submittals and O&M's.
Me, holding back the tears- "Well i know the process is extremely hard. I know from my last job. But is there any kind of class i can take or training so i don't have to just get up and leave here. I'm willing to learn."
Mike- "Well there is, but it would take 4 years. Listen Jossilyn your young. And the type of person i am looking for is in there 30's and has done this before and knows how it all works."
Me- " Okay.. and i understand that but when Shannon hired me she just said that she needed me to help her and that she would teach me things, so that i could take it off of her plate. Also just so i was here and just help her with what ever help she needed help with. I have learned so much from her, and that i am so thankful for. I'm not mad at you guys and i understand that you are looking out for your company, but about 2 months ago Shannon did tell me that she wanted to teach me how to do submittals and O&Ms, so that it would be off of Dereks Plate. She also said that all of us would be having a meeting so we could talk about it and decide what would be done. I told her that i would love to learn that, and to tell me when the meeting would be held. A couple days go by and i ask her if we are going to have that meeting or start the work and she said she didn't know. And then i asked two weeks latter. She said she still didn't know. I told her to let me know if she hears anything more about it. So how was i suppose to learn about that, if you never let me or tell me what is going on so i can even try to learn."
Mike was sitting there looking at me and listening while nodding at me talking.
Me going on- " So i tryed and i don't want you to think that i just gave up on it and didn't worry about doing the work."
He then went on the explain that he needed someone with experience in that department and Derek, the estimator couldn't do the work anymore, he needed to bid jobs.
I talked to Mike for about 45 min or so telling him that he was a good boss and he took really takes good care of his employees. I said that i know because i came from my last job where everyone was so rude and didn't give a shit about anyone but there selfs.
Mike " Well jossilyn i wanted to let you know that you did nothing wrong and usually when people are in here I'm fiering them because they screwed up and keep screwing up. I am glad that you did work with us while you were here but... We just need someone with more experience i hope you understand."
I told him thanks walking out the door just crying worse then when i was talking to him. Shannon was there to hug me, i gave her a hug. But to tell you the truth i didn't want to.
She told me to go the bathroom and take all the time i needed. I was in there long enough to wipe my tears and fluff my hair. I went out to office, red puffy eyes and all. Yeah! I hurry and sat down quickly and started working on entering the bills into quickbooks. I didn't even look up. Scottie, one of the laborers, was faxing and i didn't want him to see me how i was.
Shannon and i talked a bit and she was so sorry, she said she tryed to keep me but couldn't convince them. She said maybe latter on when they can afford it they would hire me back.
I told Shannon that i really needed to go home so i could talk to Dave. And i wish i had my cell phone cuz the ride home took FOREVER!!!!
So I'm a little bummed, sad, surprised and angry. I loved working with MJ Mechanical. I loved the positive enviorment that was there. I will miss it truly i though i would be there for a long time. But i was wrong. I'm really getting sick of getting layed off cuz i don't have enough experience. ( Then why in the hell did you hier me in the first place?) So i guess i will be a stay at home mom for a bit and take care of my family. Which i love that job and always will but the pay sucks and it doesn't offer benefits.... lol.. jk..
My ohhh hold it all in face... nice eh..
Yeah! aBouT tHe JoB & aUnT KiM!
So David had his first day at work!!! The name of the company is Energy Star Instalation. David only had to work a half a day today, so i went home for lunch and got to visit with him about it. He said he loved it.. (YEAH) He said that it was really easy and the only hard part is trying to fit into a tiny little hole so he can have access to the attic. But he says he thinks he will really really like it and cant wait to go back tomorrow! His boss is really fun too so that is also a plus. But he gets to bring his cousin Kyle with him tomorrow, so they can train him to run the truck. Then when they both feel confident with the work they will be able to do the jobs with just the two of them and David will be in charge. So this is really working out for Dave and I and even his cousin. The only thing that sucks is i just have to go into work latter but it will be fine.
So I didn't really get to talk about last week. I forgot that I went and visited with my aunt Kim. I have been wanting to go over there for some time and so I was glad that i could go over with my mom and see her last Tuesday. Right when i walked into the room it felt so warm with love and happiness. You could just tell that she had more then just physical visitors there, there were past relatives helping her get threw this. Walking up and seeing her so frail, sick and so thin was really hard for me to see. Even thought Kim is only my step aunt we have been in there family sense... i could remember. All the past memories of her flooded back into my head. I started to tear up but held it in and gave her a hug. I didn't know what to say but " It is so good to see you, I have been wanting to see you for some time." She held on to me for sometime and said in my ear that she loved me and was glad to see me. It was just so nice to go and sit down and listen to her talk and tell story's about anyone and anything. She was upbeat and happy to visit. I do have to say though, i could tell that i was not looking into her eyes and would look away when i would talk to her. And i thought about it on the way home and i didn't know why i did that and felt bad that i did. But when i think more about it, i think i did that cuz it was really hard to look into her eyes and see her pain. It was also hard to look and see how sick she really was and that she really is dying. Her face is so skinny now and just hearing her talk about the tiny little and i mean little things that she would eat she would just throw it back up. I just recently had the flu and i cant believe that she would have to go threw that everyday.
I am really glad that i went and saw her thought. It was good to talk to her and tell her what is new and what Milo got for Christmas and to just talk. She also let me borrow a book that she had received in the mail from a friend who wrote it. She was so happy to share it with us and saying "I'm in a book!" But how freaking cool is that. I wish i was in a book. Anyway she went on to tell us about the book and the struggles this lady had. Her sister is mealy handicap and the book just talks about how as a family they dealt with it and tryed to help her grow up and be some what on her own in this cruel world we live in. ( The book is called That went well) But Aunt Kim held out the book and said her take it. I was kind of struck and dumb founded like wow you just got this book today, and its signed and your letting me borrow it? Wow thank you. I felt so special and lucky to be the first one to read it! And let me tell you when i got home i made sure that i told everyone not to touch it or ruin it cuz this book was a special book, it had my aunt in it!.. So taking the book I was so happy that she was thinking of me and knew that i needed something good to read, as we had talked about it earlier.
As we said are good byes and i bent down to hug her good bye, she whispered in my ear. "Jossilyn we love you so much and care about you, I want you to know that this is a house of love and you will always be safe here no matter what. If you need to come here you can. I love you so much". I am so glad that i have grown up with such a loving, caring, nurturing aunt who loves you no matter if your black, blue, purple, pink big, small.. She has loved me threw all my struggles and has gone threw all my different stages growning up. I thank her for that love and i will truly miss her when she is gone. I know we all will, but she lives in all of our hearts in so many diffrent ways that we will never forget her and how she has touched us all. I am grateful i have gotten to know her for as long as I have, and wished to be a better person because of her. I love her very much and wish she didn't have to struggle any more. I love my aunt Kim!

EvErY bOdy PuT YouR hAnDs iN tHe AiR!
Today that title is so true. I am so thankful that there are so many people in this world that are so kind and want to help others. David has been looking for work for quite some time. He has put in over 15 applications to diffrent types of work, and nothing has turned up. Now i know some may say "Well why doesnt he just go flip burgers intell something better comes up". Dont worry we have thought of this many of a times, but this is the reasoning to why we dont want him to. With the pay that they would pay him it would just be better to have him stay at home with milo so i can go to work early and not have to worry about finding a babysitter. (He also has dinner waiting for me when i get home. :) Hes kind of like a stay at home daddy. So i do have to say i will miss him when he goes back to work.) The pay wouldnt be worth it at all. So this is why hes not at burger king (thanks for telling us lousil, daves grandma, that they were hirring. LOL)
But on with the story. Dave had called his parents bishop to see if he needed any help in his business that he ownes. Sorry i dont know the name of the business and either does dave yet.. But he just said that he was busy and needed someone to spray insulation into the attics of peoples homes. He also said that if dave could find someone to go with him and run the hopper (the machine that feeds the insulation to the hose) he could just run his own crew after he learns the whole job requierments. I think that also means he will be getting his own truck. Which will be nice cuz then i will have a car. So we are thankful for this. It pays very well and he starts monday. Dave is very excited as am I. I know he will do so good and is a very fast, hard working fool. I thank everyone who prayed for us or kept us in there thoughts.
Earlier this week we were going threw the newspaper looking at the ity bity classifieds for jobs. As we were looking threw the pages there was an add saying "Now is the time to apply for firefighting positions". So we got on the website and basically filled out a reseme that you can put out on line. Then they go and pick and choose over the net, i guess. Dont know. But if he gets a call back on this we have decided he would go and do this. Its seasonal work but pays as much as a job would pay in a year. The training is all paid for and i think the food to. He basically gets to camp out and fight wild fires. Now i know your all thinking but what about this other job he just got. WELL let me splain..... If he only has to work seasonal at this wild fire job then when he comes back he can work at this new job he just got. And go back and forth. I bet his bishop would probley work something out. But anyway we dont even know if he is getting that job yet so? Were just hopeing he does.
Hmmm. I cant think of anything else to say that really was like cooler then that there story. So thanks for reading. I need to go and find everyone i know who has a blog so i can like blog it up with everyone. Thanks for everyone who has helped david milo and I, with telling dave about jobs that were opened or who was looking for people and just being there. I am so glad that this new year of 2009 is starting out really good.
God bless!
